Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LPPMP) was officially established following the issuance of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2014 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of Universitas Sebelas Maret on August 20, 2014. LPPMP is tasked with coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating activities related to the improvement and development of learning and educational quality assurance.
Currently, LPPMP oversees four development centers:
• Center for General Course Development and Management (P3MkU)
• Center for Learning System Development (PPSP)
• Center for Information Technology Development for Learning (PPTIuP)
• Center for Quality Management System Development (PPSMM)

📈 Development Programs
LPPMP’s development programs have shown progress toward achieving its goals, including:
• Instructional Skills Improvement Systems: PEKERTI and Applied Approach (AA) programs for lecturers within UNS, which have also gained trust from other higher education institutions outside UNS to conduct instructional training.
• Web-Based Learning System: The embryo of e-learning began with elearning.uns.ac.id and has evolved into spada.uns.ac.id.
• Training and Textbook Development: Programs for training, development, and writing of textbooks and teaching materials; along with guidelines to support the formulation and implementation of Higher Education Curricula based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), both within UNS and other institutions.
• Quality Management System Development: Based on ISO 9001:2015 standards, including monitoring of quality management implementation, accreditation assistance for study programs and institutions, and conducting academic evaluations within UNS.
